Clinical Manager

IOSIS operates as a multi-disciplinary, multicultural, Christian, community service provider based in South Auckland with a vision to equip families to be safe and strong together.
 
This is a critical new role providing clinical leadership to the professional and therapeutic delivery of effective work with families, through the development of models of practice which integrate professional and non professional work for effective outcomes, consistent with the purpose, values and beliefs of Iosis Family Solutions.
 
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the development of systems, policy and procedure for effective practice and performance development and in collaboration with the service team leaders implement these to ensure continuous improvement takes place.
 
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Ability to teach, write and develop thinking in areas of practice and effective therapeutic models
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Current registration with a practicing body
  • Sound understanding of family issues – domestic violence, alcohol and drugs, parenting and care and protection.
  • Knowledge of various models of practice, including Maori and Pacific models, strengths based tools and family centred practice.
  • Knowledge of current legislative requirements relating to Social Work and counselling practice
  • Experience in writing policy and procedure and developing case management systems particularly in a multi disciplinary context
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications
