Volunteer

Volunteer with Turnaround Shops
We are always looking for volunteers for our Turnaround Shops, these are a valuable resource for the continued success of IOSIS work but we need our faithful volunteers to help them run! If you can spare a few hours per week, or even more, please check out our Turnaround Shops and call Christie on 09 269 0050 or email her on christie.jpg for more info.

Volunteer with City Lights
One of the ways you can be involved as a volunteer is to join with the City Lights project. City Lights creates accessible entry points for individuals and people to engage in Social Action in their communities. It is combined with training and facilitation. Check it out and attend one of their summer or winter gatherings. City Lights works with many of our families and services on both short-term and long-term basis.

Contact Us
We take other volunteers from time to time in some of our other areas of service. If you are interested in volunteering with IOSIS, please email Christie on christie.jpg with your details and a brief explanation of your skills or ideas.

ruby1.jpgThe name IOSIS is a greek work meaning "the process by which a base metal becomes gold". It is the power of a miraculous transformation and it is our inspiration.

We believe strongly in the power of transformation in people's lives; that despite the challenges they face, we know they can make significant changes for the sake of their children. We are committed to providing a set of practical support and learning processes to encourage, educate and come alongside families who are struggling to change habits of violence, addiction and offending to help them create a safe and secure environment for the children.p_2.gif
