What We Do

At IOSIS we have adopted a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to working with the whole person in the context of their family and community. This is why we have centralised our work to include a range of services in one place.

In our Manurewa site located at 112C Russell Road in Manurewa, you will find our central intake which will help you identified what service or combination of services is right for you, your family or the family that you are referring, contact us here. This site is also home to the following services:

These services work together to best facilitate the goals and needs of the family and are managed centrally to this end.

Also included in our Multi-disciplinary approach to working with families are our Merivale Residential Programme for mothers and children located off-site as well as our Awhi Mai Community second-stage housing community for mothers and children and our two Foster Care Family Homes.

ruby2.jpgThe name IOSIS is a greek word meaning "the process by which a base metal becomes gold". It is the power of a miraculous transformation and it is our inspiration.

We believe strongly in the power of transformation in people's lives; that despite the challenges they face, we know they can make significant changes for the sake of their children. We are committed to providing a set of practical support and learning processes to encourage, educate and come alongside families who are struggling to change habits of violence, addiction and offending to help them create a safe and secure environment for the children.p_2.gif
