Corn Fritters Recipe

This recipe serves 3

1 can creamed corn
salt and pepper
1 egg, separated
2 tsp sweet chilli sauce
1 tbsp worcestershire
1 cup flour
oil for frying


  1. Mix together corn, salt and pepper, egg yolk, sweet chilli and worcestershire. Add flour, mix. Whisk egg white until stiff, fold into the batter.
  2. Heat oil in pan. Drop in spoonfuls of mix and brown on both sides (2 to 3 mins each side).
  3. Drain on paper towels. Serve with extra sweet chilli and one rasher of bacon, if your budget allows.
