Ways to support Iosis
Thank you for considering ways you can support our work with families. Whether it is through fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering, donating gifts in kind, praying for us, or by some other means, your support means a great deal and can help us accomplish a lot. Some options are listed below but contact us if you have other great ideas. Of course, financial donations are always welcome! You can make a donation to Iosis online.
Fundraise
Fundraising is one way that, together, we can make a real difference to the future of many families. One simple way to do this is by using the crowdfunding service Givealittle. Set up a Fundraiser page, create a fundraising challenge and invite your friends to donate to Iosis. Givealittle will pass on their online donations to Iosis, leaving you free to concentrate on your challenge.
If you plan to fundraise for Iosis, whether through Givealittle or independently, let us know. We’ll be glad to chat with you and see how we can support you to achieve your fundraising goal.
Give as a business
There are many ways your business could support our work with families. Whether it is sponsoring a project, donating gifts-in-kind, offering your pro bono or discounted expertise, setting up workplace giving or volunteering, offering us free advertising space on your billboard or in a publication, or introducing us to your circle of contacts. We would love to discuss your ideas and see how, together, we can make this a win-win-win situation for the community, for your business, and for our work with families.
Give as a church
As a faith-based organisation, Iosis particularly values its church partners. Ways your church may wish to support our work with families could include becoming a prayer partner, donations, volunteer teams, providing free or discounted venue hire for Iosis events, organising fundraising activities, or inviting Iosis representatives to speak at your service or to one of your groups. We’d love to meet with you and share our vision. Please contact us to start the discussion. We look forward to hearing from you.
Volunteer
There are many ways you can volunteer your time, skills and talents to support our work with families. Some examples include gardening, doing odd jobs, cleaning our work vehicles, or providing transport or childcare. (Depending on the role, police vetting may be required.) Some helpful information for you to advise us would be: if it would be just yourself or a team (and how big is the team), what your particular volunteer interests or abilities/qualifications are, your availability, whether you want to offer one- off or ongoing help, and your purpose in volunteering. Please get in touch—we’d love to hear from you!
